2006

It has been a long long time since I last blogged. My last entry was in September last year where I announced the temporary closure of this blog. I have actually been procrastinating and promising myself to start writing again but I am just plain lazy. My new year resolution is to update this blog as frequent as I can but since I am in the army, I can only come back during the weekends. Hopefully there will be things to write every weekend I come back.

Looking through the archives of my blog, I am really glad I started this blog because this blog had served my purpose of starting a blog in the first place. The main reason for starting a blog is because I want to remember everything that I had gone through in my life. Memories be it good or bad.

I realized that I had no new year resolutions last year. Back then, I was still in Ngee Ann enjoying my life. They always say that the most fun you have in your life was when you were still in school. How very true indeed. I was having so much fun that I didn't make any resolutions because I was happy as can be.

Looking back in 2005, I can say there are 3 major events in my life. First is the death of my grandmother. I hope she is resting in peace now. Second is the completion of my diploma in Ngee Ann Poly. I remembered things were looking so bleak in my first year that I considered dropping out. Luckily I am blessed to have many helpful classmates and friends to have help me pull through.

The third major event is I have finally been enlisted in December last year. Everything has been ok so far although I still grumbled every now and then on 'why must we serve?' The army is really a new environment and totally different from the outside world. Everything is being controlled and you even need permission to fart (joking la). What I mean is there are many restrictions and you need permission for everything you do.

My last 5 weeks in the army has been interesting so far. From spooky encounters to weird inmates and all the cock things that happen. I may list some of these interesting events in my future entries.

Time really flies and it's the year 2006. 2005 has been good to me I must say. Let's hope that 2006 is the same as well. Hail 2006 and World Peace.
