The inefficient CMPB and the tears of an old soldier

I graduated from Poly in April and after 4 to 5 months, I still haven receive my enlistment letter. I wonder what the hell they are doing. Most of my peers my age have already finished their NS and here I am still waiting. Even majority of my Poly mates have gone in and most are even 2 years younger than me.

I made an enquiry to CMPB a couple of weeks ago about my enlistment date and they told me they couldn't do anything also. The only thing I could do was to wait. They also said mine was a special case. Because they need to gather enough fat-boy-boy to form a platoon then can go in. Singapore so many fat-boy-boy around cannot be not enough to form a platoon mah...faster leh..me also not young le..faster gather all the ah-fats and join me leh...

I think most likely I will be enlisting next year. Which means I will be joining the JCs batch. I hope that not all are nerds. Also in preparation, I am reading the dictionary everyday to brush up my Ang Mo so that I will be able to communiate with them in the future. All the JC boy boy all English educated...I don't think they can understand my fluent Hokkien. If one day I become Government people, I will make sure Hokkien will be the mother tongue language in Singapore.Wahaha....

One thing I have been preparing myself to face is that when I go in as a bloody recruit, my sergeants or whatever supervisors are bound to be 3 or 4 years younger than me. That will be the deepest humilation. Knn...imagine me a 22 yr old MAN kana knock-it-down by a 19 yr old BOY. Kao...how to tahan..those buggers...when I am studying for my Os..they are still studying their PSLE...when I taking my PSLE..they still learning their ABCs...

On a lighter note, I have been sleeping for the past 2 days during my working hours in the office...I feel so guilty..but yet so good...:)
