The MAID and the start of EPL

Sorry for lack of update because nothing much happens recently. My life is just going work and going home after work. What a loser.

I went to see the local production movie 'The Maid' on National day. I think its just an 'ok' movie. Or maybe I am a sucker for scary movies. I don't really find it scary at all. The so-called twist in the movie is something I already saw coming.

Anyway what are these directors thinking? It seemed that the only way they knew how to scare people is just suddenly someone flashing past at the background and then increasing the music volume 10 times. Aiya...so common leh...no creativity leh. Or a hand suddenly tapping your shoulder and you turn around only to realise its your father/mother/sister/neighbour.

The scary techniques used in this movie is typically all which I mentioned above. But I must mention that the female lead in the movie is very chio(not Hong Hui Fang you idoit). A Flipino by the name of Rossi something if I not wrong.

But if I were to make a choice between 7 swords and the maid, I think the maid will still make a better choice.

Summary of movie:

She was constantly disturbed by the spirits and then one day, upon looking through the belongings given to her by the family, she realized that before her, there was another maid working at the household. This maid had disappeared mysteriously during the 7th month and.....

Rating: 6/10

Anyway the EPL had finally started. Haha...weekends will never be the same again. I am finally able to lead a normal life during the weekends. Cheers.

YEAH!! The EPL is back.

I knew The Maid was a pretty crappy movie, but they sure did put a lot of marketing into it. At PS you can see the big big poster.
