Yesterday...once more

It has been 3 weeks since I went back to the special school for the intellectually(dunno whether I spelt correctly) disabled. The reason was because of projects and preparation for exams that I was absent. Finally it’s all over and I am back there again.

Ever since signing up as a volunteer worker there, I realized I have grown really attached to the place. I am really concerned for their progress and also do hope to spend more time with the kids there. That place is really far from my place. The school is at Kembagan while I lived in Jurong and it takes around 1 and a half hour to reach there.

On the whole, the kids there are relatively quite well-behaved apart from some really active ones who will just run around without notice. There are also some who will scratch you or just scream for nothing. However, gradually I have learnt how to deal with such cases and be really careful when some get violent. I remembered once I was deeply scratched by one of the kids and the marks are still visible on my hand till today. Don’t me wrong. Not all the kids there are like that. There are only some special cases which need your attention. On the whole, they are all right. Really.

Anyway after that I meet my friends for a movie. The title of the movie is ‘Yesterday once more’ by my all time favorite actor, Andy Lau and Sammi cheung. The story is about a divorced couple who became together because they have a common habit and that is stealing. After they have divorced from each other, Sammi was going to get married again with a rich man. When the dowry was stolen, Sammi suspected it was Andy and the story goes on from there. It wasn’t really too bad a movie but I think it could be better. The plot was not bad and the chemistry between Andy and Sammi is also superb. The only weak point is some irrelevant scenes which are like erm what-is-this-for?. Anyway I think this movie is quite worth seeing during the week days where its cheaper. As for weekends, there should be other better choices around.
